I have just looked at the betting markets for the World Cup next year. I am astounded that the reigning champions are as much as $14 with some organisations. Are bookies giving away cash in a recession??
There is no reason why the Azzurri won’t defend their title in grand fashion. With the addition of a fit Nesta I can see no team troubling their defence.
For a team of such ability, the price is ridiculous and I will be all over it week in week out until the tournament begins.
